A simple Touchpad Pattern
Posted by twit2knit on April 20, 2011
I have one of those touchpad things, nothing too big, probably the same size as a Kindle (approx 7/8 inches in size), what does any touchpad need, a knitted cover of course.
Using an aran yarn (I used Robin Aran with Wool) and 4.5mm(US7) needles co 38 stitches.
Knit all rows untill piece measures 6.5/7 inches
K2, p2 for 4 rows, bind off in pattern.
sew bottom and side, that’s it. Took me less than an hour.
Or you could make it in the round.
Co 36, Join being careful not to twist your stitches.
K2, p2 for 4 rnds
(For garter stitch look) k1 rnd, p1 rnd until reached desired length.
(For stocking stitch look) Knit all rounds till desired length.
Using 3 needle technique, bind off.
Weave in ends.
For those of you new to 3 needle bind off, information is here and here.
